McLaren take over Hungary: Norris and Piastri celebrate one-two!

George Russell of the Mercedes team finished third. The race on the twisty Hungaroring track once again confirmed its reputation as one of the toughest on the calendar, adding intrigue to the fight for the championship title.

The race, which took place from 1 to 3 August, gave spectators a real show. Charles Leclerc, who started the race from pole position at the wheel of a Ferrari, was unable to hold on to the lead and finished the race in fourth. McLaren showed not only high speed, but also brilliant tactical preparation, using different strategies for their drivers. Norris, who chose a one-stop strategy, managed to keep Piastri behind, despite the fact that he was driving on fresher tyres. This double success was the seventh of the season for McLaren and brought the team its 200th victory in its history.

The weekend was unsuccessful for Ferrari: despite Leclerc's pole position, the team encountered technical problems during the race. Defending champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull also struggled and finished only ninth.

With the European part of the season drawing to a close, the teams are preparing for the summer break. All eyes are on the final round in Abu Dhabi. Often associated with the glamour of Dubai due to its proximity, the grand prix will be held at the Yas Marina Circuit from December 5 to 7 and will be a defining moment in the fight for the championship.

The race in Abu Dhabi is more than just a sporting event; it is a spectacle that begins at dusk and ends under the bright lights. Spectators will not only enjoy exciting racing on the track, but also a rich entertainment program with performances by world stars.
