Iconic Metallica to perform at Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025!

Metallica last visited Abu Dhabi in 2013, leaving an indelible mark on fans. Their first show on Yas Island in 2011 laid the foundation for a loyal audience. More than a decade later, the band returns, giving fans a long-awaited gift.

The concert takes place against the backdrop of one of the most exciting stages of the "royal race". The energy of triumph on the track intertwines with the power of metal sound, creating a unique combination of sporting excitement and musical delight. This is not just a concert, but the highest point of the race weekend.

The band will bring with them the grand M72 tour, which has won recognition in stadiums around the world. Spectators can expect pyrotechnic effects, laser shows, huge LED screens and stage structures designed specifically for large-scale venues. You will hear everyone's favorite hits: from 80s classics ("Master of Puppets", "Enter Sandman", "One", "Seek & Destroy") to cult tracks of the 90s ("Nothing Else Matters", "Sad But True"), as well as new compositions from the album "72 Seasons" (2023), which received a Grammy Award for "Best Metal Album" in 2024. The unrivaled stage charisma of James Hetfield, virtuoso parts of Kirk Hammett, the powerful sound of Robert Trujillo and the frantic energy of Lars Ulrich are the central event of the program! Music will be with you all weekend long.
