This winter, the long-awaited performance of the legendary band "Metallica" will take place in Abu Dhabi

Metallica have sold 57 million albums in the United States and even more abroad. Their combined album sales have exceeded 90 million copies, making them one of the most commercially successful bands in the heavy metal genre. The name Metallica came from the band's drummer, who suggested it when inviting James Hetfield to join the new group. Their high speed, virtuoso playing, and aggressive delivery made them pioneers of thrash metal, along with bands such as Megadeth, Anthrax, and Slayer. Among their successful releases is Metallica's 1991 multi-platinum album, known as The Black Album, which has sold around 17 million copies in the United States alone. The band has won numerous awards, including nine Grammy Awards, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.

Early in their career, Metallica created special areas at concerts for fans who wanted to record their performances. In the 1980s, the band was known for its unbridled style. In the early 1990s, they achieved even greater popularity with shorter songs, while maintaining their signature musical identity.

Today, the band has a team of 83 personal assistants who accompany the musicians on all tours. While on tour, each member has his own chef and dentist, and Lars Ulrich even has a personal assistant to operate his computer.

Over the years, the band has experienced many crises and triumphs. However, no one doubts that they remain one of the greatest rock bands of our time.
