There is very little time left until the semi-final matches of the Final Four

This will be the first time in history that the Euroleague finals will be held outside of Europe, and it is known that the United Arab Emirates has already purchased the rights to host the European basketball finals next year.

Panathinaikos, Monaco, Fenerbahce and Olympiacos are currently the four clubs that will play in the semi-finals.  Panathinaikos won the last tournament, beating Real Madrid. The Madrid team has not performed very well this season and failed to make it into the top four, just like the French Paris. 

Panathinaikos won the series 3-2 and became the last participant in the Final Four, beating the Turkish Anadolu Efes, and before that Olympiacos, Fenerbahce and Monaco reached the decisive stage of the tournament.

Monaco left Barcelona behind and, by force of will, broke through to the semi-finals of the Euroleague playoffs, the significant meeting ended with the victory of the French basketball players with a very minimal score of 85:84. Barcelona is finishing its season, and by purchasing tickets for the 2025 Euroleague Final Four, Semifinal Games at the Etihad Arena you will be able to see the performance of the strongest basketball club, Monaco. 

The most productive basketball player of the last game as part of the winners was Mike James, who scored twenty points. An American who plays as a point guard in the Euroleague, in addition to CSKA and Monaco, James played for Spanish Baskonia, Greek Panathinaikos and Italian Milan. In 2024, Mike James was recognized as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2023/24 Euroleague season, and this year he clearly intends to repeat his success, bringing consistent benefits to the team on the playing court. Slightly less than James, seventeen points in the last meeting with Barcelona were scored by Georgios Papagiannis. The Greek professional basketball player, playing as a center, spent last season in the Turkish Fenerbahce, but now with the French he demonstrates excellent results, having one of the most successful seasons in his career. Thus, Monaco won the series, losing twice, but winning three times, and secured a place in the semi-finals of the tournament, so soon their performances can be seen in Abu Dhabi.
