Since his debut in 1995, he has consistently delighted his fans with new hits, maintaining the same passion and inspiration. His work has paved the way for young performers from Latin America, such as Maluma, J Balvin and Nicky Jam, to the American stage. Iglesias's songs are heard all over the world, and his concerts invariably gather full houses.

Enrique was born into a family of famous parents: his father, Julio Iglesias, is a famous Spanish singer, and his mother, Isabel Preysler, is a recognized Filipino socialite and TV presenter. Julio Iglesias's family roots lie in Galicia and Andalusia, and, according to some sources, his mother is of Jewish and Puerto Rican descent. Enrique has citizenship of Spain, the United States and the Philippines. In terms of popularity and income, he has long surpassed his famous relatives.

Since childhood, Enrique dreamed of becoming a singer like his father, but at first he hid his intentions. He borrowed money from his nanny to record a demo tape with two songs in English and one in Spanish. At the beginning of his career, he used the pseudonym Enrique Martinez and claimed that he came from Guatemala to hide his origins.

Enrique holds world records: he held the first place on the Hot Latin Songs chart for the longest time and has the most number 1 hits on this chart. Externally, the singer has hardly changed since his debut, keeping in shape with a healthy diet and regular exercise. According to him, dance performances are a great cardio workout.
