Alexey Chumakov is a name that is known not only in Russia, but also abroad. Some remember him as the host of popular TV shows, others as the winner of the program "One to One", and someone first saw him in the project "People's Artist", which became the starting point in the singer's career. Twenty years ago, his popularity began: crowds of fans, active promotion on radio and television. During this time, Chumakov proved himself not only as a musician. In 2004, he wrote the script for the film "Dirt", which was filmed by his friend, director Kirill Kotelnikov. In addition, Alexey paints pictures and is the author of the mystical thrillers "In Search of Ghosts" and "47".
Chumakov is known as the main romantic of the domestic scene. His family with the singer Yulia Kovalchuk is considered a model in show business. Alexey dedicated many love songs to his wife, and together they performed such hits as "Turn on the light in me", "We are made for each other" and "White flag".
In 2008, the artist went abroad for the first time with concerts, visiting Germany, where his performances caused delight. Three years later, he performed with Michael Bolton in Poland at the Russian song festival "Zielona Gora". Their duet performed the song "Tut i Tam", consisting of Russian and English parts.
Today, Chumakov regularly tours the world and appears on television. In 2023, he became a member of the jury of the show "Brighter than the Stars!" on TNT, where, together with Garik Martirosyan, Daria Blokhina and Ivan Abramov, he chose the winner, claiming five million rubles. The audience noted his wit and ability to joke on par with famous comedians.
