Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi

Located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, the Yas Marina Circuit is a state-of-the-art racing circuit designed by renowned architect Hermann Tilke. Often referred to as the “Arabian Monaco”, this unique facility is the only circuit in Abu Dhabi and the pride of the region. Since its opening in 2009, the circuit has hosted the prestigious Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which usually concludes the Formula 1 season. 

The Yas Marina Circuit features a challenging 16-turn configuration, making racing exciting for both competitors and spectators. The circuit and its surrounding infrastructure, including an artificial island and a state-of-the-art hotel, cost €893 million to build. Particular attention was paid to the lighting system, which ensures that night racing can be held.
