The tournament will be held in a Final Four format: reigning EuroLeague champion Olympiacos (Piraeus), 2025 EuroLeague champion Fenerbahce Beko (Istanbul), 2025/26 season finalist Real Madrid, and Dubai Basketball, representing the host country. The semi-finals will feature Olympiacos against Fenerbahce and Dubai Basketball against Real Madrid. There will also be a third-place match and the Final Four showdown that will determine the first-ever winner of the EuroLeague Super Cup trophy.
Etihad Arena has already proven its ability to host top-tier basketball: it was here in May 2025 that the EuroLeague Final Four took place — for the first time in history outside of Europe.
